There has been much talk about cloud repatriation as many organisations reverse their precipitate rush to the public cloud. But simply bringing it home isn’t the answer either. Hybrid cloud has been around for many years and the emerging trend for multi-cloud strategies is driving organisations to take a long hard look at their own data centres. Building a truly cloud experience in an on-premises data centre is a challenge. Managing the resulting hybrid infrastructure with potential multi-clouds is a serious challenge.
