In the field of cybersecurity, women are underrepresented. According to Cybersecurity Ventures, women will make up about 25% of the global cybersecurity workforce in 2021. Women could help fill the more than 2.5 million cybersecurity job openings yet, with millions of cybersecurity job openings, there is a disconnect between organizations and women looking to enter the male-dominated industry. As the path to cybersecurity continues to grow, it will provide underrepresented groups to contribute at all levels.
