Azul Airlines, a Brazilian carrier, announced their intention to start international flights to Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, so they’d need the technology to manage the increased operational complexity that comes with international expansion. They needed a flexible and modular approach to modernizing their IT systems. To meet such needs, Azul decided to partner with Amadeus and implement the Amadeus Altéa Reservation and Ticketing platform.
