NetSuite se une con la red TechSoup para apoyar a las organizaciones no gubernamentales

La compañía de software empresarial, Netsuite, se ha unido con la red TechSoup Global para ofrecer su tecnología de gestión de recursos empresariales a las organizaciones sin fines de lucro a nivel mundial.  The partnership gives only predetermined, qualified nonprofits access to a donation of NetSuite's cloud-based SaaS offerings, but the companies said the partnership will eventually evolve to make all of TechSoup's 52 partner organizations eligible for the NetSuite goodie bag. 

 
The deal makes NetSuite the first cloud-based financial solution to be available through TechSoup's product philanthropy platform, with TribeHR and LightCMS becoming the first cloud-based human capital management and content management systems to be made available via the nonprofit network.
 
Gayle Samuelson Carpentier, chief business development officer for TechSoup Global, said in a statement:
 
This partnership fills a very specific need for our community that has not been addressed up until this time. It goes a long way toward helping TechSoup Global deliver on its promise to provide technology information and resources for nonprofits and to help mission-driven organizations change the world faster.
As for NetSuite, the nonprofit strategy is just as much about expanding its SaaS footprint as it is about being philanthropic. The companies cited survey results that estimate more than half of global nonprofits plan to move significant portions of their IT to the cloud in the next few years. The TechSoup partnership could give NetSuite a jump on competitors also looking to fill that gap.
